At Dental Care of Sandusky, we have a passion for compassion.

OUR DENTIST
Sanam Magrey, DMD
When Sanam Magrey was growing up, her mother encouraged her and her two sisters, to “study hard, dream big and succeed.” The advice worked well, as all three went on to become doctors. She went to dental school in India and became a dentist. At age 24, Dr. Magrey moved to America and found out she needed two more years of schooling to practice dentistry here, so she attended the prestigious School of Dental Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine DMD. She has been practicing in the Northeast Ohio community for more than 20 years, most recently in Brunswick. She practices old-fashioned dentistry, getting to know the families under her care, while modernizing her practice with today’s leading-edge technologies. This busy wife and mother of two adorable daughters, enjoys spending time with family and reading.

Deb Wolshuck
Dental Assistant
A dental assistant for 39 years, Deb loves talking to her patients about anything and everything. When not working, she enjoys researching her family history, reading and crafts. Deb has been married to her husband John for 40 years and they have two sons, Nate and Jonathan, and two grandsons, Alexander and Maxx.
Tracy Hartnett
Front Office Manager
Starting at this practice 30 years ago, Tracy moved from dental assistant to front office manager, which helps her understand patient needs and allows her to coordinate their care with insurance and financial issues. She and her husband Dan have two children, a daughter in California, and a son in college. Tracy enjoys boating on Lake Erie and traveling.
Brooke Keller
Dental Hygienist
As a dental hygienist for 37 years, Brooke loves caring for her patients’ oral health. Outside of the office, she enjoys reading, boating and traveling. Brooke and her husband Ted have one daughter, Paige, and son-in-law, Charlie, with whom they enjoy spending time.
OUR SERVICES
Preventative
Our goal is fostering healthy teeth to last a lifetime. We provide deep-cleaning visits twice each year and focus on preventive measures such as sealants and fluoride treatment.
Cosmetic
Trust us to make your smile its best and brightest. We offer laser whitening, veneers, crowns and bridges. We can correct chipped or cracked teeth through bonding, and can also replace old metal fillings with tooth-colored composite material.
Root Canals
Following a conservative path of treatment, we try to save a tooth rather than extract it whenever possible. Dr. Magrey is specially trained to perform root canals, with the goal of repairing the damaged or infected canals within a tooth’s root. Although in the past this procedure was painful, she works with the latest endodontic technology that is fast and painless.
Dental Implants
When a tooth cannot be saved, it’s time for an extraction and then implant or bridge. Dr. Magrey does not place implants, but can restore them when needed.
